The Youth and Women Empowerment in Agribusiness (YEFFA) Project is a transformative initiative implemented by BizyTech in partnership with AGRA. The project aims to increase the meaningful participation of youth and women in agribusiness by harnessing digital technologies, innovation, and integrated market solutions.

Through YEFFA, BizyTech equips young people and women with the skills, digital tools, and market opportunities they need to enhance productivity, strengthen agribusiness enterprises, and build sustainable livelihoods.

The project is currently being implemented across ten regions in Tanzania:

Tanga, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Singida, Arusha, Iringa, Njombe, Mbeya, Songwe and Ruvuma.


Key Interventions


1. Digital Advisory Services

Through KILIMO BaNDO, Bizy Tech delivers localized, timely, and data-driven agronomic advisory. youth and women farmers receive real-time guidance, best-practice recommendations, and problem solving support helping them make informed decisions and increase their productivity.


2. Digital Market Linkages

Kilimo Soko, our integrated digital marketplace, connects farmers directly with reliable buyers. The platform improves access to fair prices, reduces post-harvest losses, and strengthens market opportunities for youth and women agripreneurs.


3. Strengthening Agro-Dealer Networks

Our Agri Merchant POS solution enables agro-dealers to manage sales, track customers, and monitor business performance with ease. With more than 1,500 active users, the system enhances transparency, efficiency, and growth across the agricultural input supply chain.


4. Community-Level Field Support

Bizy Tech’s field agents work closely with farmers and agro-dealers at the village level, offering hands-on training and practical support. This hybrid model combining digital tools with on-ground assistance ensures higher adoption and deeper impact.
