Developed in partnership with Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB), CRDB Bank and Tigo Pesa, the initiative offers farmers a secure, dedicated savings account with no deductions or operating costs.
Farmers can conveniently deposit and manage their savings through bank agents, branches, mobile money services, or USSD codes starting from as little as 500 Tanzanian Shillings. The Dodoma launch, attended by Hon. Dr. Tulia Ackson, marked a significant step toward advancing financial inclusion in Tanzania’s agricultural sector.
